Children's Charity Work

Spire Assist have a network of supported living provisions and a health and social care staffing agency in West Yorkshire. We are dedicated to seeing vulnerable children and young adults develop the life skills they need to engage in their community and live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives. Alongside our health and social care services, we're also involved in extensive children's charity work, running frequent events in support of a variety of local and national charities. We are proud to say that we have raised over £180,000 in support of these charities, so far, and we're not done there! Take a look below for the latest on our charitable ventures.

Kidneys for Life

We're proud to support Kidneys for Life, a charity dedicated to making kidneys for life a reality. A donated kidney can change a life, helping to extend it, but the story doesn't end there. Kidneys for Life are involved with research into kidney disease, dialysis and transplantation and have been at the forefront of research and development for over 40 years.

Our Involvement

We were very fortunate to have had the honour of supporting an event for Kidneys for Life. We partnered with a series of local businesses, as well as car manufacturer Aston Martin, to host an event to raise awareness and funding for this fantastic cause. This event was attended by celebrities and sportspeople, where memorabilia was auctioned off in support.

Graham Layton Trust

At Spire Assist, we're passionate about making a difference, not only in the healthcare recruitment sector but also in our broader community. That's why we were thrilled to donate £5350 to the Graham Layton Trust during their recent charity events in Knutsford, Cheshire, and Bradford, West Yorkshire. With the help of celebrities Tez Ilyas and Art Malik, who graciously hosted the events, we were able to contribute to the Trust's incredible mission to provide free, high-quality eye care for those less fortunate in developing countries.

The Galas

We are consistently focused on supporting families and young people at all times of the year but, every two or three years, we hold a grand charity gala, in support of the various charities we help fund. We invite footballers and celebrities and hold a private auction, with every single penny raised going to the charities we support. The events involve fine dining, with entertainment for all guests – including dance troupes and singers, hosted by DJs from radio stations such as Heart and Capital FM.
